Meet Alhambra Dentist Dr. Andrew Wong

Dr. Andrew Wong has been practicing in Alhambra since 1985. He received his dental degree from the University Of Southern California School Of Dentistry. He continued his advanced training in occlusion, restorative and implant dentistry and received certification at the FACE Institute in San Francisco and the Scottsdale Center in Arizona.
 
He is a former clinical instructor at his alma mater and is now currently in private practice emphasizing cosmetic, restorative and implant dentistry.
 
Dr. Wong has dedicated his career to optimal patient care and has averaged well over 100 hours of continuing education per year since graduation, much greater than the required 30 hours yearly.
 
Dr. Wong is involved in several advanced professional organizations in both membership and leadership positions including the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Osseointegration Club of Southern California, and the San Gabriel Valley Dental Implant Study Club where he serves on the board of directors. He is also an active member in the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the San Gabriel Valley Dental Society.
 
In addition to full time practice, Dr. Wong gives back to the dental community by serving as an elected member on the Peer Review Committee of the San Gabriel Valley Dental Society and was a past board member of the Society. He has made custom athletic mouth guards for football and soccer teams at the university, high school, and club levels and has presented health lectures and screenings to local schools.
 
Dr. Wong and his wife, Julie, have been married since 1986 and have two children. In their spare time, they enjoy playing tennis, the symphony, skiing and hiking together and attending their kids' tennis tournaments and swim meets.
